KARTILYA.PH makes Philippine legal materials searchable and provides source-linked legal research without charging the public for access. Annual institutional sponsorship sustains the research, preservation, verification, and technical work behind that service.
Loaded corpus: 8,296 provisions across 57 instruments and 4,181 Supreme Court decisions. This describes the material loaded on KARTILYA.PH, not a comprehensive, official, or necessarily current account of Philippine law.

The work behind public access
The principal cost is skilled work, including researchers identifying and examining sources, editors preserving and describing materials accurately, and engineers maintaining the interface and security. Sponsorship helps keep the public corpus and core interface free. It sustains public legal access, education, and dependable source-linked research.

§ Independence
Independence is a condition of sponsorship.
Sponsorship confers no authority or influence over KARTILYA’s corpus, legal answers, research findings, editorial decisions, search results, product design, or treatment of any person or institution. Sponsors receive no user information or preferential research treatment.
§ Institutional underwriting
How sponsorship is arranged
Institutions may underwrite KARTILYA’s public legal-information work through annual or multi-year sponsorship. Each sponsorship is a commercial arrangement established through a written agreement and reflects the term and scale of the commitment.
Recognition and stewardship are described below. Sponsorship confers no product access, user information, preferential research treatment, or authority over KARTILYA’s priorities.
§ Sponsor recognition
What institutional sponsors receive
Each institutional sponsorship includes a defined acknowledgment and stewardship package. Exact acknowledgment, duration, and reporting obligations are recorded in the written agreement.
Public acknowledgment
The sponsoring organization’s name, approved logo, and website link appear on KARTILYA.PH’s sponsorship page and in the annual public sponsorship report.
Sponsor designation
During the agreement term, the organization may identify itself accurately as an Institutional Sponsor of KARTILYA.PH and use an approved sponsor mark under applicable brand guidelines.
Annual stewardship report
Sponsors receive a concise account of the work sustained during the year, including corpus coverage, source verification, preservation, public use, and technical maintenance. Service metrics are aggregate and contain no user information.
Institutional briefing
One annual briefing covers completed work and the sponsorship report, with time for questions about the reported work. The briefing provides no authority over research, editorial decisions, or product priorities.
Sponsor acknowledgment remains outside legal answers, search results, and source pages. It creates no exclusive access, official endorsement, or preference in KARTILYA’s research or product.
